  Stayed at the Riverside Hotel recently with our 2 children , after our car was locked in council carpark overnight and we were struggling to find somewhere to stay. Special thanks to Jen at reception who was very welcoming,kind and helpful in our time of need. The hotel was lovely our room was clean with more than enough space for the 4 of us. We had a lovely outlook over the river. Fabulous breakfast. And pool and gym looked great too. Next time we stay we will have to bring our swimming costumes! Thanks again. JKxx

  On arrival at the hotel we were promptly booked in and pointed in the direction of our room. The hotel is rated as 3 stars so we didnt expect anything to outstanding.
  
  The room was clean and tidy but very cold. I asked at reception how to turn the heating up in the room but was informed the heating in the building wasnt on and offered a small fan heater for the room.
  
  The room although clean felt dark & dated. The bathroom was acceptable and clean with all facilities working.
  
  Usual beverage selection and tea making available.
  
  The breakfast selection was very impressive with a wide range of items available all of good quality.
  
  We would have rated this hotel 4* if the heating would have been working.
